Artist Statement

My work explores the imperfections and quiet commonalities that bind us as human beings. Through figurative sculpture, I aim to capture fleeting moments such as an expression, a posture, or a mood. These subtle details invite the viewer to recognize something familiar and perhaps imagine a story of their own.

Each piece is a reflection of our shared experience, rooted in the ordinary yet emotionally resonant aspects of daily life. I work primarily with polymer clay and found objects, materials that feel both humble and deeply expressive. As a self-taught artist, sculpting has become a natural extension of my often chaotic family life. It is something grounding and essential.

In shaping these characters, I seek to express a simple truth: we all move through the same world, marked by memory, emotion, and the weight of being human.
